T he town of Carmona is located only 30 kilometres from Seville and on the last important peak of the elevation known as Alcores at 235 meters high, dominating the extensive meadow of Corbones river.

The fertility of the area and the easy defence of the hill on which the town is located combined to make Carmona one of the most important settlements of all time.
