Museum of Sacred Art – Church of Santa Cruz

The museum houses a large collection of 16^th to 18^th centuries silverware (vessels, chalices and cups, portapaces, buckets, bells, crosses, monstrances, platters, altars, as well as cloths, canopies, paintings, sculptures, lecterns, furniture or cornucopias). We must highlight a Namban “Shokendai”-art lectern made in Japan’s Momoyama period in 1573, as well as a rich tower ostensorium in gilded silver by Francisco de Alfaro Hernández (Seville, 1586).
